Hello all...not much new here.  Just going through my daily routine of chasing baby, changing diapers, selling and advertising product, making phone calls, and recruiting a team for my business.  It keeps me going all day long.  Thank God I have more energy since I've been on the Herbalife weight loss program.   I need it!!  I can keep up with my daughter and believe me I have to or she does things like this......

She's crazy but cute and you just gotta love her!!  She can still do no wrong in my eyes but I'm sure that will change.  She sees me on the phone all day now so everything she picks up she talks into like a phone.  It's great!  The best is the remote control because it's so big up to her face.  She blabs in it like I do all day long.  That must be what I sound like to her.

The business is going great and I really enjoy doing it.  The best is I get to be at home and I LOVE that!!  I have 6 people under me already and several interested and I've only been doing this for 2 months.  Plus I am losing weight doing it and learning about nutrition.  What else could I ask for.

My exciting Tuesday

Hello again.  My what an interesting day so far.  First thing this morning I wake up to my bedroom shaking from the vibration of the addition being built on our house.  I thought they were sawing right through and joining me in bed.  8:00 am is too early for a working mom to be awake if she does not have to be...right?  My daughter usually sleeps until 9:30 - 10:00 so why shouldn't I??  Oh well, an ocassional early rise is actually quite enjoyable.

After my daughter joined me and woke up, I proceeded to change her diaper.  I should have changed her on the changing table upstairs since it was a very messy one, but no I changed her on my nice couch.  She grabbed the soiled diaper and smeared it all over the couch for mommy!!  Oh boy my first poopy disaster!!  Ahhhh motherhood.

I then made my delicious herbalife protein shake and my daughter's breakfast.  Nothing unusual there.  After breakfast I dialed through several calls I had to make for my business.   My daughter plays in the livingroom where I can see her.  She decides to help herself to a snack.  She got into the beach bag on the floor from the weekend, pulled out her container of puffed rice stars, took  the lid off, and spilled the brand new container all over the floor.  It was histerical and of course a kodak moment!!  Gotta love 1yr olds!  She sat in the middle of them on the floor and went to town eating them.  I guess she won't be needing any lunch.
That is up to present in my day so lets see what's to come!!  I am headed to my mom's for dinner to see my sister who is in town from north Jersey.  Talk again soon.

This weekend...

This weekend was fantastic! The hubby, baby and I went over to the in-laws' house for brunch with my brother-in-law and future sister-in-law. I was feeding the baby, and Stacy (future SIL) asked to try to feed her. BB (not her real name - it's Stacy's nickname for her) was happily eating as I fed her. Everything was fine...until Stacy took the spoon. She slowly moved it towards the baby's face, and all of a sudden, BB made the most horrified face I've seen in a long time. Her face scrunched up and she gave Stacy this look like, "I'm sorry, who are you, and why should I trust food from YOU?" Fortunately, we all thought it was hilarious, and after a few more tries, the baby finally gave in and decided she was hungry enough to take food from someone other than Mommy.

After the baby was done eating, the adults got to eat. I'm not sure if you know, but on Herbalife, you only eat one 'real' meal a day. The other meals are Herbalife shakes. (I am loving the chocolate, by the way - I highly recommend it.) Anyway, I usually eat shakes for breakfast and lunch, and save my 'real' meal for dinner. However, this day required an exception. You know when you show up at someone's house and there's amazing food everywhere? That was the situation I found myself in. I very much enjoyed a breakfast of eggs, fresh fruit, and crepes with low-fat ricotta cheese. I was still on the breakfast high as I drank my Herbalife shakes for lunch and dinner.

Oh, and I wanted to mention - when I mix my shakes, I sometimes add frozen strawberries to the chocolate shake. This makes an amazing flavor. It's like eating chocolate covered strawberries but without the monstrous amount of calories.

Also, has anyone tried Herbalife shampoo? I'm looking into buying some but I'd like some reviews before I purchase.

A second post, because my first one looked lonely

I didn't like having just one post on my blog, so I wanted to post another, just to get things going. I can't believe summer's almost over already. It's been amazing being outside. We recently celebrated my daughter's first birthday, and the weather was so beautiful.

I know winter will be fun because my daughter will be able to enjoy the snow, but there's something absolutely amazing about being out in the sun. My goal is to stay healthy over the winter and lose enough weight to feel confident in a two piece bathing suit next summer. Let's just say I wasn't loving bathing suits this year. I'm hoping for the best next year!

Hi! Welcome to my blog!

Hey everyone! I'm Jen. I'm a stay-at-home mom. Right now, I'm struggling with the challenge so many new moms face: losing weight. Between cooking dinner for my husband and taking care of my baby, going to the gym is not an option. So, I've gotten involved with Herbalife and am loving it! I recently lost 16 pounds in two months, and I feel fantastic. I have so much energy to run around with my daughter, and I love it!

I want to share a bit about myself, since I'm going to be sharing my everyday triumphs and struggles with you on a semi-daily basis going forward. I'm loving being a first time mom. I'm currently having an addition built on my house so my daughter has somewhere spacious to play. Plus, I'm building a new master suite - come on, Mommy and Daddy definitely need their space, too!

My hobbies include visiting the lake with family and friends, watching television (whenever I get a few minutes to myself) and my Herbalife business. Herbalife allows me to work from home and sell products that I truly believe in. Please feel free to contact me if you want to learn more! I truly value my time with my husband and daughter, and selling Herbalife allows me to do this while contributing to the household income. Plus, I'm losing tons of weight by drinking a shake that tastes like chocolate. Seriously, you can't beat that! Also, I've learned so much about nutrition that it's amazing. I had no idea I needed all of these vitamins. I'm glad I know now!

Anyway, I look forward to sharing my daily activities with you as I embrace the worlds of weight loss and mommyhood. I hope you'll follow me along the way.
